The Importance of Art

I disagree with this statement. It is a completely biased view that could harm students performance. The arts are one of the most important parts of high schools. It allows for something other then strict curriculium in the students day.

The arts are not for everyone that is true, but for many other classes such as the core classes are not for them. A career does not have to be in math or science or one fo the sterotypical fields. For many students the arts is the career field that they want to go into. If they do not have access to this during the day students may not excede in their chosen career in the arts. This could harm students careers in the future.

Another reason to keeps the arts is how it gives students a way to express their creative side in life. If they are forced to stick to less creative subjects, it would create a dull lifeless world. We need to allow students a way to express themselves, and prepare them for every future no matter if its the arts or not. We need to be there for every student not just those that are more academically inclined. The arts an important part of our curiculium.
